2027 Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame Nominee

Jordan Levi

Arcadia Asset Management

Jordan Levi has spent more than 27 years elevating and transforming the cattle feeding industry through strategic leadership, market innovation and a steadfast commitment to producers and their communities.

Unlike many industry leaders, Jordan did not come from a multigeneration cattle family. As the son of an auto dealer, he entered the industry and built his success entirely through unwavering passion, determination, a relentless commitment to learning and strong partnerships. His outsider’s perspective allowed him to introduce a level of financial discipline and institutional rigor that has reshaped modern cattle feeding.

As founder and CEO of Arcadia Asset Management, Jordan played an instrumental role in bringing Five Rivers Cattle Feeding—the world’s largest cattle-feeding enterprise—back under U.S. ownership in 2018. His leadership was central to aligning stakeholders, designing the transaction structure and helping set the strategic direction that has allowed Five Rivers to thrive. Jordan continues to help guide the long-term vision of the company through his position on the holding company board.

Jordan has also championed transparency and modernization within fed cattle marketing. In 2016, he co-founded the Fed Cattle Exchange, one of the industry’s first digital marketing platforms, providing producers with improved price discovery and expanded marketing opportunities. His expertise in integrating physical and derivative markets stems from earlier roles managing significant grain and livestock portfolios for the AIG Commodity Arbitrage Fund and Heritage Capital—experience that continues to influence industry risk management today.

Jordan’s leadership extends across the national landscape. He served as a director of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association, is a member of the Ag Leadership Council at Colorado State University and is an adjunct professor at CSU, investing directly in the development of future industry leaders and risk managers. In 2024, he was appointed to the CattleFax board as well as advisory boards for Rabo AgriFinance and Rabo International.

Beyond business and policy, Jordan’s most meaningful contribution is philanthropic. He and his wife, Shannon, co-founded Beef Sticks for Backpacks, a 501(c)(3) that provides more than 20,000 beef sticks each week to food-insecure children in Colorado. The program has become a national model for how agriculture can serve communities with purpose and impact.

Jordan and his wife, Shannon, have been married for 17 years and reside in Colorado with their son, Jack. Jordan graduated cum laude from Babson College and completed the General Course at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
